Hotel Transylvania Review

Hotel Transylvania Review
behind the cut

This is my Hotel Transylvania Review.
Dracula singing a lullaby to his daughter Mavis
Hotel Transylvania is an amazing animated story about Count Dracula - voiced by Adam Sandler who wants to fulfill what he thinks is the last wish of his death wife. He opens a hotel for monsters and monsters only. All the monsters come here because they think they are afraid of humans.Humans are being portrait as monster hating, torch carrying things.

In the beginning we see Dracula (my favorite horror movie monster) fly through the window and stands before a cradle. I felt sad for the baby in there - until it became clear that it was his daughter - Mavis - voiced by Selena Gomez.

There is a cut scene and we are at the night before the big party where Mavis turns 118. All the other monsters come - we have the Wolf-man, who is stressed wife Wanda with their dozen children. We have the Mummy who turns out to be a soul swinging bandage changing beast and we have Frankenstein and his wife Eunice who clearly wears the figurative pants. And the invisible man who is unseen besides his glasses and gives away that he has curly red hair.

All the monsters and the count hang out and have fun. Until there walks in Johnny, a 21 year old 'human'. Dracula is so scared of this to happen because he has forbidden his own daughter to go into the human world, that he asks, persuades and even threatens Johnny to leave. Now remember this is all in a movie suited for children and up so nothing too scary happens. But Johnny decides to stay after he lays his eyes on Mavis.

There starts the adventure in preparation of Mavis' party. Dracula convinces Johnny that if he not leaves, he has to dress and act like a monster. So he becomes Johnny Stein. But what would happen if Mavis or any of the other monsters find out that Johnny is not really a monster but a human.
If you want to know what happens  - be sure to check out the movie..
